It’s the time of the year when the Bald Eagles flock to the Wisconsin River. The Sauk Prairie Dam keeps the waters open and allows the Eagles a much-needed food source. What a great time to view this majestic bird in it’s adapted habitat.

The Ferry Bluff Eagle Council hosts an Eagle Watching bus tour every Saturday through February 21st. The tour begins in the lobby of the Cedarberry Inn and returns approximately an hour later. The cost is just a $5 donation per person. Dress accordingly, as the tour is not strictly a bus ride. You can exit the bus at the Eagle Overlook. If you forgot binoculars, you can use the telescope that is available at the overlook!

Reservations can be made for the tour by contacting the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce at (608) 643-4168 or the Cedarberry Inn.
